Waipunarangi and ururangi were celebrated today through wind and rain activities. Ngā tamariki enjoyed swishing around messy play, trying to collect rain, enjoyed the balloons outside, made kites and dancing with the scarves 💨💦

This morning we set up the tuff tray for morning tea. The children loved pouring 'tea' and making 'coffee' for each other.

We have so many cultures here at Alpha Preschool we celebrate many different festivals and cultural days. Come and visit us and check it out for yourself.

Today we used our fine motor skills to make shape-to-pai! We had the best time using flowers, stars, oval gems and colourful circles to fill in the tentacles and the faces of our shape jelly fish. While playing we were kind and gentle asking for more resources as we went.

We challenge all our children here at Alpha Preschool. We have a great environment that your children will love!

Today we learnt about tupuanuku and tupuarangi who represent the food and growth. We had the best time making fruit salad, planting seeds, colouring our fruit and having a fruit hunt 🌱🍇
