Maunga Teitei Performance tonight - Cancelled
Kia ora i te Whānau,
We are all aware of our spring changeable weather so unfortunately because of the weather forecast the decision has been made to cancel this years Maunga Teitei Performance., at Te Ara Koropiko, West Spreydon School - there is no postponement date.
Thank you to all the work the Staff and tamariki have put into this performance.
Now we look forward to seeing the tamariki shine at our next two events; the Te Tipuranga performance at Tūhono on this Saturday and Addington's got Talent for all performers on December 3rd.

@Addington - Friday 20th September Stop Motion In Akeake
Today marks the start of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2024!
The theme for this year is ‘Ake Ake Ake - A Forever Language’.
Ake ake ake means ‘forever and ever’ or ‘everlasting”. It represents the resilience, adaptability and endurance of the language, and the commitment of communities around Aotearoa for te Reo Māori.
The ake ake tree is also known for its resilience. It produces some of the strongest of all native woods and grows in some of the harshest climates. The name ake ake reminds us the tree is durable. Just like te reo Māori.
Have a korero with your tamaiti next week about how we are celebrating te Reo Māori at kura….here is a clue….kōura.
