At 5 am, our founder Jamal joined the Director of Adam Goodes documentary (The Australian Dream) - Daniel Gordon, and Chelsea FC players Anita Asante and Ken Monkou for a panel discussion around The Australian Dream (highly recommended) and the powerful message behind it.
My biggest takeaway was when Daniel was asked about his learning from Adam Goodes and directing the documentary. He said "Racism is not about what you say or how you say it. It's more about how it's received by the other person". This is what makes it a difficult topic to navigate.
Thanks to Show Racism the Red Card for the invitation and to Hebden Bridge film festival for premiering the documentary in UK. We highly recommend watching The Australian Dream in case you haven't already !! One Love Australia

KIA KAHA
"Kia Kaha" means Stay Strong. And this is what our two great countries must do. New Zealand and Australia have had a proud history of sharing values and a way of life. Together we can take a stand against evil - together we will always achieve more than we can on our own.
