Welcome to Flamenco Del Sur! We are a flamenco group in Christchurch, New Zealand, dedicated to the teaching and learning of flamenco.
Classes at Flamenco Del Sur give students a sound grounding in flamenco technique with a strong focus on footwork, correct body alignment, and the eloquent use of arms. Traditional flamenco dances are taught at a level appropriate to each student’s skill and experience, along with training in the various flamenco rhythms, styles and traditions. Tuition in castanet playing is also offered.
