Coming up this week

The team in China have just finished their time at Wenzhou Practical School as part of the Global Youth Ambassador Programme.
Over the past 11 days 14 Chissy kids have challenged themselves to embrace the culture, try new things and have been pushed outside of their comfort zones on a daily basis with many of them rising to the challenge. It has been an adventure that they won’t forget!
We have formed connections with many people especially our guides Steve and Albert who have been with us during our whole experience. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. A special thank you to Ms Western who has put in countless hours to ensure this trip was a success. A long journey ahead of us whilst we make our way back home 🇳🇿🇨🇳

Today the Year 8s from the team in Wenzhou were lucky enough to catch up with Cherry who was our Mandarin teacher last year. The students were so excited to reunite with her!

The team in China has spent the past few days in Beijing as part of the Global Youth Ambassador Programme.
We’ve been to the Temple of Heaven, climbed part of the Great Wall of China, seen pandas at Beijing Zoo, and wandered around The Forbidden City. We’ve had lots of awesome experiences so far and have been helped immensely along the way by our great guides and Chinese students who have been very generous. Our next stop is Wenzhou.
Thank you to our guides and their photographers who have been with us as part of GYAP as they have given us permission to share these professional photos that they have taken.

Students on the GYAP programme in China are getting to see some amazing things. A highlight yesterday was climbing ‘ The Great Wall’ . They have also visited The Temple of Heaven, took part in Peking Opera masked making and have made new friends with students from Beijing. And meet ‘Kiwiana Justin’ our trip mascot

Today a group of students and staff are travelling to China as part of the Global Youth Ambassador Programme. They’ll spend some time in Beijing and then at a Summer Camp in Wenzhou. They’re all very excited for the opportunities that they’ll have!

Congratulations to this week's Chissy Champs! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
