🏐CHISNALLWOOD HOUSE VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION

Last Friday we hosted our first House Volleyball Competition. There was plenty of house spirit on display and the 120 students involved had a great time.

Games were very competitive but the focus remained on fair play and showing the 4 R’s.

Results are as follows:

•Year 7 Girls- 1st Fire, 2nd Sky, 3rd Earth, 4th Air
•Year 7 Boys- 1st Earth, 2nd Fire, 3rd Air, 4th Sky
•Year 8 Girls- 1st Sky, 2nd Earth, 3rd Air, 4th Fire
•Year 8 Boys- 1st Fire, 2nd Air, 3rd Earth, 4th Sky

Overall Results:
1st Fire, 2nd= Sky and Earth, 4th Air

Well done to all participants!

Coming up this week!

A reminder that learning conferences are on Wednesday and Thursday. School finishes at 1pm on both of these days. There will be no lunches on these days as well.

We are fortunate to have a wonderful group of parent and grandparent volunteers join us on Friday mornings for our Readers Circle. Our volunteers spend time reading alongside our students, helping to build their confidence, develop a love of reading and create meaningful connections. We are very grateful for the time, care and encouragement they give each week.

Welcome back to Term 3!

Coming up this week!

Today we celebrated the last day of Term 2 with a house Tug-of-War competition. Team Earth proved unstoppable again, taking out both the Year 7 and Year 8 competitions. We also acknowledged our Chissy Champs of the week at our end-of-term assembly. We hope everyone has a safe and restful holiday.
