We are immensely proud of our Kapa Haka rōpū who performed amazingly at last night's Cultural Festival at Avonside Girls'/Shirley Boys' High School.

Well done to all involved, with a special note to Matua Steve for all his work, and for Jo and Kate for coordinating as well as the staff that came along to support.

Week 4 is here!
Lots happening again - swimming for Years 3-8 continues and we will have our first Whānau Hui this term on Friday at 9.15am in Waitai. See you there and have a fantastic week 💛💚🩵💙

This week our Year 3-8 tamariki made a splash at QEII for their first swimming sessions! 💧 They've been working hard on their techniques and have been learning vital water safety skills.

On Wednesday, our creative EPro8 team took on the challenge! It was fantastic to see them collaborating and problem-solving to bring their constructions to life. 🛠️

Our basketballers also played some incredibly tough games—while the scores didn't quite go our way, the teamwork and grit on court were outstanding! 🏀
Our Kapa Haka rōpū nailed their final rehearsal today, and they are looking sharp for next Tuesday’s Cultural Festival! We’re sending them all our best wishes. 🎶

Meanwhile, it was lovely to see some of our Manaia ākonga getting lost in a good book during library story time. 📚✨They also had fun at their weekly discovery sessions with some rugby, football and forest play.

Another busy week for South New Brighton School Students!

Manaia students enjoyed a fantastic visit from the City Council Dog Smart team, who came along and taught us how to be safe around dogs.

Our Legends and Wave Riders had a massive day today enjoying the ice rink, and everyone from first-timers to near-pros had a wonderful time!
