Music makes us move even when there are pathways blocks in our brain.
Fabulous video, showing music is hard-wired to make us move, bringing hope, joy and life. Reminds me of how music brought such a window of life and joy to Mum and Dad when Dad took her to dance lessons. Also, loved how music videos played every day in dementia care brought connection for her.

Kids creating a band, you can also use kitchen woodend spoons, pots, plastic containers also work well, together with natural materials from your backyard.

What a great metaphor the title is.
Julie has been an inspiration to me since the late 90's when I joined musical parenting and taught my first preschool music class at Pioneer sports stadium. Her research, music and joy is fabulous. This is a great article, enjoy.
