When you're preparing for the first day of school, please remember that school uniform requires shoes to be COMPLETELY BLACK - with no stripes, logos, or soles in a different colour.

Thank you to our wonderful Westburn whānau for supporting our Cyclone Gabrielle fundraiser today. Your generosity has contributed $1,042 to CPPA's fundraising for schools that have been affected.


Thank you to Mr Antonio Dimitrov and our brass students, Jesse, Seth, Mika, Senna, Leo, Mila, Clayton and Eason, for providing such fabulous entertainment at lunchtime.

Congratulations to the students involved in last night's performances at the Burnside Junior Showcase. Our Senior Choir, Orchestra and Jazz Band all performed superbly. It was a big day for them, with rehearsals in the morning.
Thanks must go to Mr Charles Levings for his tuition and preparation of the groups and to Mrs Madeleine Gillman for her superb organisation.


A reminder that our farewell assembly for leaving staff will be held this Friday at 2:15 pm. Any parents and whānau who'd like to join with us as we farewell Mrs Daphne Charlton, Mrs Jenny Poultney, Mrs Jane Brown, Mrs Brooke McKay, Mrs Leanne Hammond and Miss Sam Pricolo are very welcome.

Congratulations to the students who represented our kura at the Chch Schools' Music Festival on Friday evening. The massed choir, special choirs, concert band and symphony orchestra all benefitted from the skills of Westburn students.

What a fabulous day for our Senior Athletics today!
Thanks to Mrs Dale and all of the staff and parents who helped make the day a great one for our students.


Sadly for us, Nicky from Wheely Good Coffee is off to begin a new career as a flight attendant.
We're working to find another mobile barista to keep our community supplied with coffee and hot chocolate and will let you know once we've identified someone.
We send our very best wishes to Nicky for her exciting new adventure:-)
