A huge thank to the Firemen (Moss, Shane, Andrew and Brendan) from the Anzac Fire Station for coming to our kura to talk to us about fire safety and show us the equipment that they use.

Thank you for all you do to keep our community safe.

Year 5/6 travelled to Catholic Cathedral College yesterday to take part in a Science and Sports Exchange!
What a fun day in the science labs and playing rugby league, football or hockey against St Albans Catholic School. Huge thanks to CCC for hosting us!

To help us celebrate our beautiful Samoan culture, we invite you to dress your child in Samoan attire for tomorrow. This could be something as simple as a sei (flower) for girls or an 'ie faitaga/lavalava for boys, along with any reasonable cultural accessories you may wish to include.

As we celebrate and reflect on the richness of the Samoan language and culture, we would like to wish all our students, families, and wider community a very happy Samoan Language Week.

We have also had some families ask whether they may provide Samoan delicacies to share. You are most welcome to do so; however, please know that this is completely optional and there is no obligation to contribute.

Fa'afetai lava for your support and participation.

Celebrate Samoan Language Week with us….

The 2026 theme for Samoa Language Week is "‘E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le 'nu'u - From the high mountains are the blessings of the village."

All week students and teachers are learning Samoan phrases, songs and dances with Samoan leaders doing an amazing job! Check them out and look tomorrow for more phrases…

This week we celebrated our amazing Support staff and let them know how much we appreciate all that they do! Thanks Esteban, Christine, Hellen, Letitia, Tim and Mrs Gunning!

We also are turning the school pink to celebrate diversity and “Speak Up, Stand Together and Stop Bullying”. In our classrooms we talked about ways to include everyone and how following our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Excellence and Compassion lead to a inclusive and happy school 🎀💕💗💖
