Huntsbury Preschool

We’re gearing up for a wheely fun time! Community preschools are all about whanaungatanga and creating opportunities for whānau to connect.

Hands up if you had one of these as a child. I definitely did. So retro!

Do you know the one about the giraffe, the Ninja Turtle and the bee? You know the one. They all painted a Christmas mural and went inside to plant candy cane seeds. My mates are cool. 🎄🎅🏼

You have to go to bed early and shut your eyes. You’ll probably hear Santa and the bells and the reindeer hoofs on the roof but don’t get up. When you open your eyes it’s Christmas Day. Also, you can take the Huntsbury bus up the hill to the North Pole and you can see Santa there. If you have any questions about Santa just leave them here. I bet my wee pals know the answers. 🎅🏼🎄🛷🎁🦌

Did you know that big drips make a delicious ‘plink’ sound in an old formula tin? Better living, everyone. 😉🌦️

Long time, no mahi story. How about this musing from my wee mate who loves a good book…

Guys, the superheroes were hard at work today. One had a mystery book which was risky because the bark duck eats kids and books. Darth Vader was there but the superheroes saved the world and also the day. You might think this photo was taken at an adventure playground somewhere but it’s actually our everyday outdoor space here at preschool. There’s real dirt and a variety of surfaces and actual trees and stuff. No wonder little minds can imagine their days away with their mates.

Guys, I don’t want to freak you out but a volcano erupted today. Cat boy and lava baby escaped but there was lava all over their house. Then the wild horses came and turned into pirates who dug for treasure in the sand. It was a big day.
