Today we’re celebrating all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures who support our dancers every step of the way. 🩰✨

From driving to classes, cheering from the audience, listening to endless stories about dance, and even doing their hair (or at least attempting to!) to everything in between — we appreciate everything you do! 👏💕

🌟 DANCE CLASSES FOR ALL AGES! 🌟

Whether your little one is taking their first steps into ballet or you’re looking to keep dancing later in life, there’s always an opportunity to discover the joy of dance. 🩰💕

🩰 PRESCHOOL BALLET — SATURDAYS

Our Preschool class is a wonderful introduction to ballet for our youngest dancers! A fun and engaging class where little ones can develop coordination, musicality, confidence and a love of dance. ✨

⏰ 8:45am – 9:15am

💭 POSSIBLE NEW PRESCHOOL CLASS — WEDNESDAYS

We are looking at adding a new Wednesday Preschool class from 2:00pm – 2:30pm!

If a weekday class would suit your family better, we’d love to hear from you. Register your interest with us! 💕

🦢 SILVER SWANS — FRIDAYS

It’s never too late to start dancing! 💕 Our Silver Swans classes are designed for adults aged 55+, combining the joy of ballet with movement, music and social connection.

✨ From our youngest dancers to our Silver Swans, there’s a place for everyone to enjoy the joy of dance!

📍 All classes are held in Cashmere.

🩰 Welcome Back – Term 3 Starts Monday 20th July! 🩰

After an amazing end to Term 2 with a very successful show, it’s time to get back into classwork. We are so proud of all our students for their hard work and wonderful performances on stage.

We are also excited to introduce a new Preschool Ballet class on Saturday mornings from 8:45am–9:15am.

With the addition of this new class, some of our Saturday class times have changed. Parents and caregivers of affected students should have already been contacted with their updated class times.

Please note that all other class times remain the same, with the exception of Grade 3, Grade 4, and Advanced 1 classes on Thursdays, whose families have also been advised of their new class times.

If you have any questions or have not received your updated timetable, please get in touch.

🩰✨ Foot Care Workshop with Georgina Barr ✨🩰

Back in March on Monday the 23rd, our Grade 4 and above students took part in a fantastic workshop with Georgina Barr from Merivale Podiatry.

Georgina shared her expert knowledge on foot care and led the students through strengthening exercises to support their journey towards and on pointe 💗

Our Grade 4s gained a clear understanding of what they need to work towards if they wish to go on pointe in the future, while our Grade 7s—who are hoping for their first pair of pointe shoes later this year, got some great preparation for that. The girls who are already on pointe learnt more about what is needed if they wish to maintain strength for pointe work and were reminded of the exercises 👏

We had such positive feedback from this session—thank you to everyone who attended!

Today we celebrate all the amazing ballet mums, grandmothers, aunties, and special mother figures who support our dancers every step of the way 🩰✨

Thank you for the drop off and pick ups, hair buns, endless encouragement, and all the love you give both in and out of the studio. Our dancers couldn’t do it without you 💐

Wishing you all a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, laughter, and maybe a little time to put your feet up! 💕

That’s a wrap on another wonderful term! We are so proud of all our dancers and everything they’ve achieved.

Enjoy the Easter break, have lots of chocolate, and take some time to recharge 🐰💛
