🩰✨ Foot Care Workshop with Georgina Barr ✨🩰

Back in March on Monday the 23rd, our Grade 4 and above students took part in a fantastic workshop with Georgina Barr from Merivale Podiatry.

Georgina shared her expert knowledge on foot care and led the students through strengthening exercises to support their journey towards and on pointe 💗

Our Grade 4s gained a clear understanding of what they need to work towards if they wish to go on pointe in the future, while our Grade 7s—who are hoping for their first pair of pointe shoes later this year, got some great preparation for that. The girls who are already on pointe learnt more about what is needed if they wish to maintain strength for pointe work and were reminded of the exercises 👏

We had such positive feedback from this session—thank you to everyone who attended!

Thank you for the drop off and pick ups, hair buns, endless encouragement, and all the love you give both in and out of the studio. Our dancers couldn’t do it without you 💐

Come along to our Open Day! Join us for a class, or simply pop in for a tea or coffee and a chat.

• “Have a go” classes

• Collection of certificates from last year that haven’t yet been picked up

• 9:30–10:00am – Beginner Silver Swans
• 10:30–11:00am – Silver Swans
• 11:30am–12:00pm – Ballet Juniors (ages 3–8)
• 12:00–12:30pm – Junior Jazz (ages 8–11)
• 1:00–1:30pm – Senior Jazz / Contemporary (ages 11+)
