Congratulations to Chloe on an excellent weekend of Irish dancing, including Highly Commended awards in the Open and Primary Hard Shoe sections, a 4th place in Traditional Set, and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place team results. She also passed her grade exam today. Well done!

This week your child will come home with a pamphlet and instructions on how to register your child(ren) for Jumping June which we are proud to be taking part in this year.

Once they are registered they can start raising money for the Heart Foundation.
This is all about having fun, being active and we will have spot prizes throughout the month! We will be skipping most days and have a school wide skipping event on Thursday 25th June

Friday night basketball starts this week at South Hornby Primary and Wharenui Sport Centre
If your child signed up, they will get a singlet to wear and use their navy PE shorts. All players must wear a mouth guard. NO MOUTHGUARD = NO PLAY!!

Te Marama (Room 6) had the highest attendance rate in Term 1 with an impressive 94.4%! They’ve earned the win for the Ninja Valley trip and will be choosing a date to head there soon!
Keep up the great work, everyone, and stay tuned… the Term 2 attendance incentive is coming soon!

Bonnie played basketball for the Hillmorton High/Gators Y7/8 girls basketball team last weekend, and they won A grade in the South Island Primary Tournament. It was a fantastic 3 days, winning all of their 7 games.
