Big Sing Silver! Congratulations to Bel Canto and Music Director Sue Densem on a remarkable performance at the Big Sing Finale for 2026 at the Christchurch Town Hall.

The Big Sing is the New Zealand Choral Federations pinnacle event for secondary school choirs and attracted over 266 choirs from across the country, with over 9,000 students participating this year.

Bel Canto, our senior girls' choir, is in its 39th year and was one of only 24 choirs to more forward to the finals. This year we have 33 students participating from across Years 11 to 13.

A fantastic, well deserved result!
