HE'S BACK!

🏉 It has been a busy week for Richie Mo'unga (OC 2012), who, after being part of Canterbury's Ranfurly Shield-winning team on Sunday, has just been called up to join the All Blacks in South Africa!

🖤 Richie last played for the All Blacks in the 2023 Rugby World Cup Final against South Africa in Paris.

🙌 We look forward to seeing him back in the black jersey. All the best, Richie! 👏🏉

Congratulations to Elliot Wood (OC 2019), whose acclaimed one-man show, Mrs Lovett's Famous Meat Pie Extravaganza, has earned a second season in Melbourne after he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

CALLING ALL PIPERS AGAIN! 🎶

The 1st XV would love our Old Collegian or current StAC pipers to lead them onto the field once again for this weekend's 1st XV final. 🏉

If you'd like to be part of it, meet the crew at 10.45am on Saturday at Christchurch Boys' High School No. 1 Ground, to tune up and prepare before the team runs out at approximately 11.15am.

All pipers are welcome, whether you're a regular member of a band or haven't played for a while.

A huge thank you to the pipers who came along to last week's 1st XV rugby semi-final. Your contribution added enormously to the occasion and helped create a memorable atmosphere for our StAC players and supporters! 💙🤍💙

Congratulations to Pippa Henderson (OC 2022, pictured back row, third from right), who has once again been selected for the New Zealand Volley Ferns for a 10-day tour of Fukuoka, Japan.

The team will take on a number of Japanese club and university sides while also spending time training, connecting with the local volleyball community, and experiencing the culture and unique opportunities the region has to offer.

This latest selection is another fantastic achievement for Pippa and a testament to her continued dedication and success on the international volleyball stage.

We wish Pippa and the Volley Ferns all the best for the tour. 🏐

Congratulations to Jack Duff (OC 2015), who is currently starring in the hit musical 'The Book of Mormon' as it tours Australia.

Performing to audiences in Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, Jack continues to build an impressive career in musical theatre, showcasing his talent on some of Australia's biggest stages!

A huge thank you to Richie Mo'unga (OC 2012), who visited the College today to share the Ranfurly Shield with our Prep School students following Canterbury's thrilling victory over Otago in Dunedin yesterday.

Adding to the excitement, there were five Old Collegians across the two NPC teams, an impressive reflection of the talent coming through our College community.

It was a fantastic weekend of sport for St Andrew's. Our Senior Canoe Polo team claimed the South Island title in Oamaru for the third consecutive year, while our Netball, Hockey and Basketball teams are all preparing for upcoming semi-finals. Our 1st XV also secured a strong semi-final win over St Bede's.

Thank you to our incredible community for your ongoing support of our students across all sporting codes. Your encouragement and enthusiasm make a real difference, and we truly appreciate it.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious and influential arts festivals in the world, the Fringe has launched the careers of countless writers, performers, and comedians.
