Bringing Authentic Bharathanatyam and Carnatic music to the sweet little corner of the world

ZAIA believes “ dance and music is the language of your soul”. We help Kiwis learn the world’s oldest dance and music. Bharathanatyam is an amalgamation of emotions (bhavam), melody (ragam) & rhythm(talam) . It takes one’s body, mind and soul to learn this art form. At ZAIA, we have structured lessons enabling everyone to learn and enjoy Bharathanatyam. It also helps to improve one’s physical & mental fitness.

ZAIA also specialises in Indian Classical Carnatic music which is a meditative composition of pitch (Shruti), notes (swarm), melodic formula(ragam) and rhythmic patterns (talam).
