It’s great to see Airways Knowledge Online (AKO) continuing to attract organisations and students from across the globe to study remotely with us, as Covid-19 border and travel restrictions continue. A group of seven students from Somaliland are embracing online training via AKO, currently studying ICAO 051 ATS Licensing Subjects with us - and loving it!

Kia Ora (hello)
Kiwi’s (New Zealander's are referred to as Kiwis - not the fruit) often speak fast and sound funny! So, to prepare you for NZ we thought we’d put together some popular Kiwi Slang for you!
- Sweet As = Cool or Awesome
- No Worries = It's OK / Not a Problem
- She'll be Right = It's OK / Not a Problem
- Bro = Brother or good friend
- Yeah, nah = This is an indecisive phrase, followed by an explanation
- Takeaways = Fast food
- Munted = Broken/ Not Working/ Damaged
- Haka = Maori War Dance
No worries bro if it looks a bit munted, she’ll be right, it’s just the way Kiwis talk!
