To celebrate the end of the year and the imminent arrival of Christmas, the cafe will be offering PEPPERMINT HOT CHOCOLATES on THURSDAY. These will be served with a marshmallow. You can place your order online through Kindo, or at the café counter before school starts or during the morning tea break. It is important to note that students (and adults) will be required to collect their peppermint hot chocolate from the cafe. 🎄

Toroa Hub- Senior Prizegiving and Year 8 Graduation (School Hall)

Commences at 1:30 pm. (Doors open from 1 pm)



** Please note. The Senior Prizegiving draws a large crowd. Please be seated early to avoid disappointment. The first 2-3 rows behind the students will be reserved for Year 8 whānau. Please respect this signage.



We will be displaying all of the lost property on the day of our assemblies. Please have a good look through our collection.

Last Day of Term

We would like to confirm that on our last day of 2023, Friday 15th December, school will finish at 1pm.
We invite you to pick your tamariki up from 12:45pm to ease congestion in our carpark and surrounding streets.
No students will be released before 1pm unless they are being picked up by a parent or caregiver.

Marshland School Ngātahi Community Event Friday 8th December 2023 (5pm - 8pm)

Please bring your rugs, deck chairs, and picnic baskets and join us for an evening of food, conversation and entertainment.

The Parent Community Group (PCG) has been busy working behind the scenes organising this school event to celebrate the end of the school year and to bring our community together.

We are incredibly proud of our tamariki for their amazing performance at the Tūhono Kapa Haka Festival at the Town Hall this morning. Many thanks to Matua Te Huaki for sharing his knowledge, passion and commitment. Our tamariki feel empowered by what they have learnt. Thank you to our kaiako for the time & effort they have put into getting us ready. Lastly, a huge shout out to our wonderful whānau for turning out and supporting us today. Here is a segment of their performance.

Kellen and Paul put their science and technology heads together this afternoon to rescue a jacket. The jacket blew off one of tamariki when leaving school and became stuck on the roof of our admin block.
