The NZCB Conference and Expo for 2024 was held in Wellington recently.
This year’s conference was one of the most successful held, with more than 350 attendees and a further 160 exhibitors.
As well as the stands on the exhibition floor, other highlights included the keenly contested Mitre10 Great Apprentice Race, and the NZCB Apprentice Challenge sponsored by ITM, which was won by Daniel Smith of Structured Builders in Auckland, with Roy Devereux (Devereux Building in Dunedin) and Courtney Willan (Edgecity Builders in Auckland) our runners-up. The standard of apprentices that had come through from wining the regional competition was high and despite our Canterbury apprentice Nico Portland not placing this year he appointed himself well and came away with tools and an experience that I’m sure he will never forget. Well done, Nico. Enjoy some photos of the event.

Congratulations to all the competitors and a thanks to all who helped on the day.
