So much happens behind the scenes at NBP to support the incredible tamariki and whānau at the heart of our preschool 💛

We’re so proud of the ways we’ve been able to work alongside others to help make life a little easier for our families. None of this would be possible without the support of our wider community and the amazing agencies we partner with — thank you for helping us make a difference together ✨

KidsCan - Clothed in Love - Christchurch - Kairos Food Rescue - Kindness Collective Foundation - Kiwi Family Trust - Whānau Āwhina Plunket

And many others.

We also appreciate our volunteers giving their time to also make this possible!

Help Us Support Our Tamariki

We are passionate about helping our children transition confidently into school. For many of our tamariki, starting school with a new uniform is an important milestone—it builds confidence, pride, and a sense of belonging.

Traditionally, we have been able to provide the basics needed for this new journey. However, like many in our community, we are currently experiencing financial hardship and are finding it increasingly difficult to continue this support.

If you, or someone you know, are able to help, we would truly appreciate your support.

Kia ora Koutou

I’d like to invite all our community and whānau to come along to the New Beginnings Preschool Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 31st March at 6:00pm.

This is our official annual AGM, and it’s a great chance to
-Hear about what’s been happening at the centre over the past year
-See a bit of what goes on behind the scenes
- Find out how you can get involved and make a difference

We’re welcome anyone who is interested in joining our Board.

Being on the Board is a fantastic way to support the preschool, share your ideas, and help shape the future for our tamariki.

Nibbles and drinks will be available, come along, have a chat, and get to know our centre a little better.

Everyone is welcome

Sensory play at New Beginnings.
Activities like this encourage imaginative storytelling, sensory exploration and fine motor development as children pour, scoop, sift and create their own Jurassic landscapes. A roarsome way to spark curiosity and bring prehistoric play to life 🦕
