A big thank you goes out to Kiwi Gaming Foundation for funding the first aid training for 12 Playcentre members ! A combination of Redwood, Woolston, Harewood, Belfast and Lyttleton Street Playcentres spent a Sunday learning valuable skills in first aid.

⭐️ Redwood Playcentre welcomes new whānau

⭐️ Families with tamariki aged 0 – 6 years visit us and see what we do – we would love to meet you and your whānau!

⭐️ Whether you have a new pēpī, preschooler, or are new to the community, Redwood Playcentre provides a place for whānau and communities to come together.

⭐️ We offer an affordable ($30 per term!), unique, child-led environment where tamariki learn through free play, nurturing imagination, confidence, and connection.

⭐️ Your tamariki will have opportunities to explore, create, climb, read, sing, experiment, garden, cook, build, dance, spend time in nature and get messy – with activities changing daily. Playcentre parents bring diverse skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, enriching the learning environment.

👶The Nest Collective supports whānau with free baby essentials for the first year of life – and beyond. By harnessing the generosity of crafters, volunteers and donors, we provide new and gently-used baby items via local community partners to those who are most in need. Through upcycling, repurposing, and mending, we breathe new life into essential baby items.

Space is a lovely 20-week programme where you will enjoy heuristic play, music and movement, books, crafts and facilitated discussions around parenting and development. Space is a great way to enjoy some special time with your baby while meeting other parents with little ones of a similar age in a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment 🥰
