WEAVE A WILLOW BIRD AND BIRD FEEDER
Come join us for a delightful willow weaving workshop! This fun and friendly course is all about exploring your creativity with the wonderful Tamar as your guide. You’ll get to learn the techniques to make two lovely projects using sustainable willow.
In the morning, we’ll kick things off by weaving a charming little bird, and after lunch, we’ll dive into crafting a rustic birdfeeder with a wooden base. These beginner-friendly projects are not only enjoyable but also introduce you to skills you can use in other willow crafts down the road.

LEARN the SECRETS OF INDIAN CUISINE!
Integral to Indian cuisine is the use of spices, and balancing them just right to get those delicious flavours and aromas. Sign up for a 6-week vicarious adventure across the Indian subcontinent, learning all about spices and key ingredients like curry leaves, fenugreek, and asafoetida, and how to cook with them to create authentic, delicious Indian fare. You will be shown how to combine and match different spices to different vegetables or proteins to create dishes with maximum flavour even on a minimum budget, that will wow your friends and whanau. Recipes taught range from creating versatile gravy bases and homestyle comfort dishes, to restaurant favourites like Rogan Josh, Kormas and other regional classics.
