Second year running, NZ to host the Oceania Drumming Champs in Chch April 5th. More events on offer this year! Entries open now.
Entries are now open for the 2025 RSPBA Oceania Solo Drumming Championships at Rangi Ruru Girls School in Christchurch.
Events for the 2025 event include:
The RSPBA Oceania Adult Snare MSR*;
The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 5 Snare Championship;
The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 4 Snare Championship;
The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 3 Snare Championship;
The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 2 Snare Championship; and
The RSPBA Oceania Juvenile 1 Snare Championship.
*The top four place-getters in the Adult Snare MSR automatically qualify for the 2025 RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championships Semi-Final.
In addition, there is a separate Adult Snare Hornpipe & Jig event. The Wayne Hobbs trophy for NZ Open Solo Drumming champion will be awarded to the aggregate winner of the RSPBA Oceania Adult Snare MSR and Adult Snare Hornpipe & Jig events.
