As part of Kahuku’s focus on insects and bugs, the tamariki enjoyed a fun science experiment making butterflies. Using food colouring and eyedroppers, they carefully dropped and mixed colours onto their butterfly wings, watching the colours spread and blend. It was exciting to see how each butterfly turned out different and unique.
