Games and birthday cake! Always an essential part of any party!
The pabitin directly translates to “rack of goodies” and is a game played on birthdays.
Choose your icecream toppings! What a sweet treat to end our day of celebration 🍦
Today, our Little Gem branch turns 8! We want to thank all the families who have been with us from day 1. Your trust and support for our community here at Little House Montessori has truly been a huge part of our strong foundation. Here’s to giving the generations to come “a bright start” in life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Happy Hearts Day! 💗💖💞💓💝
Sharing their thoughts and ideas on what the classroom rules and agreements should be during group time.
In the spirit of respecting the Treaty of Waitangi, the tamariki came together to create their own classroom treaty! They started by tracing their hands, then had fun colouring and cutting them out. During group time, everyone shared their ideas on what the class rules and agreements should be. Lots of great thoughts and expectations were shared, and together, they built their own special treaty. To seal the agreement, they all glued their handprints onto it—showing their commitment to making the classroom a great place for everyone! Tino pai te mai/great work, tamariki.
CHOICE allows children to discover what their needs, interests and abilities are, and encourages them to engage in their own education, thereby discovering the outcome of an activity.
