Medbury School Old Boys' Association

Celebrating Founders' Day each year is so special, it is a time where we bring generations of students and alumni together. This year we celebrated the 96th year!

Students across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools share their insights of what life is like as a Selwyn House girl for them. We also heard from our Alumni President Tamara Tait who spoke about life as a 1980's Selwyn House student and the importance of our community.

A particularly moving moment was our candle lighting ceremony, where the candles symbolise the past, present, and future of Selwyn House. This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming three generations of Selwyn House students into our Atrium, current Year 8 student Pippa, her mother Kate (P*e Year 1991), and great-grandmother Nan (P*er Year 1942), who lit this year’s candles together.

We are pleased to share that due to the generosity of the Selwyn House community, a new Principal's Grant has been established in 2025. This grant represents a meaningful investment in the future. For more details please visit: https://selwynhouse.school.nz/enrolment/scholarships/
