Christ's College of Canterbury Rugby School

Arrival in Christchurch
Rugby 1st and 8th July

We are incredibly lucky to be able to use such wonderful facilities for Canterbury Rugby School training... What a stunning backdrop!

The Canterbury Rugby School boys contributed the majority of players to the International Barbarians team that played against Christ's College U15A on the Upper ground. It was a fantastic day and in true Barbarians style some excellent tries were scored!

The best part about Canterbury Rugby School is the incredible host families our lads are privileged to stay with... look at some of these amazing photos of the boys out and about being shown an amazing time in Christchurch!

Day 3: Contact/jackal/ unit skills with Rowan O'Gorman, lunch in the botanical gardens and fitness and strength testing. Another solid shift of work put in by the lads!

Day 2: A tour of the Crusaders training facilities and skills session with Crusader international high performance unit manager John Haggart, training with the Christ's College 1st XV (including work with former All Black Captain Reuben Thorne) and a pool recovery session!

Day 1 of Canterbury Rugby School: the Seiryo HS boys arrive, skills at Christ's College and a guided walking tour of the city with rugby coach and Japanese teacher Mr Everingham!
