Season openers for some of our teams today at Parakiore. Premier Men got up 94-81 over Gators, Premier Women went down 62-54 to Halswell, and Men’s U23 beat Gators 83-71.

Media day at world championships!

Immensely proud of these University of Canterbury players who repped the Maroon and Gold in Australia last week to claim 3X3 2024 FISU University Oceania Championship (and Australia Nationals Champs). This qualified the team to the FISU University World Cup in China ,November 22-24. It was a gruelling format, but the team stuck to the blue print and found a way. Shout out to our rookie Adam Bayer, his first time out of the country, our dynamic force Zachary Hannen, our steely competitor Noah Watson and our leader and quarter-back Aidan Tonge Way to ride the 3X3 roller coaster, exhibiting our values and taking out the second national title this year. Incredible grateful for the assistance from our amazing students at University of Canterbury in the successful running of the NZ Mens U23 3X3 Selection Camp last week. The players and staff really appreciated it. Lots of learning going on for all.
