Important Showcase Practice Notice

We hope this message finds you all well. We are now 7 weeks out from our Le Malaga Tāua Showcase, and what a busy and exciting time it is! 🌺

We are entering an important stage of our journey, with practices becoming more focused as we prepare our students for the big day.

📅 PRACTICE THIS WEEK

Tomorrow – PRACTICE FOR ALL 3 GROUPS

Monday 21st September – VERY IMPORTANT & COMPULSORY
Attendance is compulsory unless your child is sick and excused from school.

💞 Mātapuna | Years 1–5
Please bring a black crew-neck T-shirt with you on Monday.

🧡 Alamanino | Years 6–8
Uniforms will be provided.

💙 Vaisigano | Years 9–13
Uniforms will be provided.

Tuesday – NO PRACTICE

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
⏰ After school until 4:30pm

🏫 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Monday – Thursday
⏰ 10:00am – 3:00pm

No Practice - Fridays

🍽️ Food will be provided, however please still pack your child some food/snacks.
💧 A water bottle is a MUST.

🌺 IMPORTANT

Please communicate with the school or Sofia if your child is unable to attend practices.

We are now at the stage where dancing positions are being finalised for the majority of our dances, so regular attendance is extremely important.

We truly appreciate your support, patience, understanding and commitment as we continue this sacred journey together.

Le Malaga Tāua Showcase ,

If your child is involved with this showcase please take note :

No practice tomorrow

Back on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We understand Years 1 - 8 finish early Wednesday thats is fine we’ll pick up on Thursday for Matapuna Yrs 1 - 5 and Alamanino Yrs 6 - 8.

Vaisigano Yrs 9 - 13 will practice Wednesday 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Next week practices will be from Monday - Friday finishing at 4:30pm.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS : both weeks

Practices will be Monday - Thursday
10am - 3pm

Food will be provided however each child should provide their own water bottles please.

If any concerns please do jot hesitate to reach out.

Evening all,

A quick reminder regarding our uniform and personal property expectations at kura:

Uniform: We are again seeing an increase in coloured pants and jeans. Please remember our school uniform requires black pants, skirts, skorts, or shorts. These must be tidy (not ripped) and an appropriate length for school.

Headphones & Earbuds: Personal earbuds and wireless headphones are not permitted at kura. The only exception is noise-cancelling headphones for ākonga with specific sensory or learning needs

Teacher’s Only Day Friday 21 August.

However , if your child is participating in Fiafia Night performance or is apart of our Le Malaga Tāua showcase.

We have an all day practice from 9am - 3pm at school.

They must bring an ‘ie lavalave or one will be provided for them.

Food will be provided and are welcome to bring lunch with them.

Term 3 is here and we are back !

Our after-school classes resume Week 2 and we'd love to welcome both returning and new students.

When :
Every Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday

Time :
3pm - 4:30pm

We are now moving into the exciting stage of learning our Sāmoan songs (Pese) and Siva Sāmoa as we prepare for our upcoming showcase.
