A bittersweet announcement from Sharp Performing Arts

Hello everyone, I have a very important update to share with all of you today.

After much reflection and a lot of heart-to-heart discussions with myself, I've made the difficult decision to dissolve Sharp Performing Arts.

This wasn't an easy choice, as this business has been a true labor of love. I've cherished every moment of seeing our students grow, hearing the applause, and sharing my passion for performance with you all.

However, as my work commitments have continued to grow, I've reached a point where my overall workload has become unsustainable. To maintain my health and well-being, and to achieve the balance I need in my life right now, something had to give.

While this chapter is closing, please know that the memories, the talent, and the joy we created together will always stay with me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your incredible support over the years. You've made this entire experience unforgettable.

I am genuinely excited to see what the future holds for me and for each of you. Please keep in touch, and I wish you all the very best in your continued artistic journeys!

Kia Ora Ōtautahi. We are back, we have rebranded and we are here and ready to get started.

Drama/Theatre classes will start in TERM 3 and will operate in the prestigious Showbiz Christchurch Studios, specifically Studio 2. Initially we will be running one class on a Thursday from 4:10 - 5:30pm for 10 - 14 year olds. Please go to the website for more details and to sign up.

Stinky Bottom Shakespeare was a great way to finish off my time here.

It’s a tradgedy and a comedy all at once. This stage we call life is set to offer us challenge and reward and I feel like I have been rewarded so much by living here and working with such wonderful children.
