In this podcast, Jamie Taylor talks with Julia Wikeepa, CEO of Hā Habit and Hauora educator, about hauora | wellbeing, focusing on the use of hā | breath for mindfulness.
Julia and Jamie explore the use of the Hā Tool, a Māori inspired breathing tool, as a way to enhance mental wellbeing, as well as some breathing techniques and daily breathing practices that anyone can use as a form of stress management for anxiety.
Julia also shares practices that whānau or kaiako could use with tamariki to help them overcome heightened emotional states, such as by creating a safe space for them to express themselves, breathwork, and modelling hauora | wellbeing practices.
