Congratulations to former UC Sport and Sport Science Centre staff, Carl Bradford and Matt Shallcrass on their recent appointments to Cycling NZ. Carl takes up the role as physiologist for the women's track endurance programme, while Matt is assistant coach to the men's endurance squad.

2018 is the 40th year of operation for the Sport Science Centre, but unfortunately recent changes at UC have resulted in the suspension of all services and a number of staff changes. Please see below.
Changes have been made in the way UC provides sports and recreation services to give more students greater opportunities to participate.
This does have an impact on the services previously available. UC Sport will continue to offer UC sports clubs performance/video analysis, and strength and conditioning support will continue to be available through the Falcons Sports academy. Other fitness/physiology services based at the Sport Science Centre will not be available until further notice. For more information see:
