Today we proudly begin celebrating Samoan Language Week ❤️
This week is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and celebrate the beautiful Samoan language, culture, traditions, and values that enrich our communities. Through stories, songs, movement, and conversation, we will be exploring Samoan language together and embracing the importance of cultural diversity and belonging at FUNdies.
Each day this week we will be introducing a new Upu o le A*o (Word of the Day) to help tamariki and whānau learn simple Samoan words that can be used in everyday life.
We can’t wait to learn alongside our tamariki as we celebrate the language, culture, and identity of Samoa 🇼🇸
