Shirley First Learners

We are sad to say that today is the end of an era. It's the last day of Shirley First Learners.
Thank you to all the kaiako and tamariki that have been apart of the first Learners whanau.
We will cherish the memories we have made together. We end knowing our hearts a full and you have intrusted us with the care of your tamariki over the years and being a part of your childs learning journey watching them grow, and shine in their own unique ways.
We wish you all the best.

Lots of sensory fun this morning with Whero/red and kowhai/yellow gloop. Tamariki had lots of fun mixing and exploring as it slowly transformed to karaka/Orange.
Tamariki love an opportunity to get messy with sensory play.

Car wash at preschool today. Sensory play, imagination building and team work. Lots of Learning happening with the most simplist bit of fun.

Tamariki had so much fun yesterday we extended their play with further sensory fun. Exploring with various resources from inside and outside preschool

Very cold frosty morning this morning.
With lots of interest and a love of dinosaurs by many, kaiako set up a scenery with water and sand for lots of open end learning.

Tamariki have been learning number recognition with lots of matching and counting play. Lots of teamwork and working together to support each others learning.

Busy little hands exploring this morning. Lots of imagination happening, creating soups to potions.
