Big congratulations and well deserved recognition for our very own Marlene Morrison in today’s King’s Service Award.

Kia ora whanau. We will be closed Monday 1 June for King's Birthday. We reopen 6.00am Tuesday 2 June.

We are still open and will have lessons as usual and casual swimming available on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May.

Today the Aiden Son pace clock was unveiled at our pool!
Aiden donated part of the prize money he won at SCWC Championships when he broke lots of regional records to the Waitaha Swim Club, so our clever coach Matthew bought the equipment and made the clock!

Thank you Aiden for your generous contribution which is really appreciated and a fantastic asset to our pool, and Matthew for your resourcefulness in making it!

Fantastic effort by our super awesome coach, Ziyu, at the New Zealand Masters Championships in Auckland this weekend! Ziyu swam 4 events -50 and 100 free, and 50 and 100 fly and finished first in all 4! Plus a new NZ record in the 50 free! Well done Ziyu! We are super proud of you!

So good to see everyone at the Canterbury Swim School/Waitaha Gala Day today! Fantastic to see some really great racing and the huge effort put in by all the swimmers! Well done to the Dragon team who won the most points!

We're looking forward to supporting the Waitaha Swim Club at the Waitaha Summer Sizzler at the new Parakiore centre this Saturday and Sunday!
This will be the first club meet at the new pool - and with 339 swimmers taking part - will be the biggest club meet in Christchurch since 2011.
Very exciting! Go Waitaha!!!
