Mihi Whakatau

Welcome to New Whānau and tamariki,

When: Friday 31st of July, 10am.

Details: Our whole School will be formally welcoming our new learners and their whānau joining the Ilam School Team in Term 3, 2026. At the Mihi Whakatau any new tamariki and their whānau who have joined us since Friday 1st of May until Friday 31st of July will be welcomed. Our new families will meet in the whare pukapuka (library) at 9.45am.

All current Ilam whānau are also welcome to join us in welcoming our new families.

Following the Mihi Whakatau around 10.30am we invite you to stay and enjoy some refreshments in the hall.

PTA Second Hand Sale is this Friday! We are in need of donated items, if you have uniforms that are too small you are welcome to drop them off at the office. Thank you for your support!

Room 8 - dropping parachutes (Artemis) with eggs (Astronauts) off the staff balcony....... a final exercise of enquiry studying space and gravity. This enquiry started as a result of the Artemis and the end result of their safe return back on earth. So much fun!

It is lost property time again. If anything looks familiar, please pop into the office. All items not collected tomorrow or early next term, will be donated to the PTA and local Charity Shops.

Please be advised that the Senior School Winter Sports for today has been cancelled due to the current weather conditions and ground closures.

Domestic Enrolments | Ilam School Starting school is an exciting time for children and their families. We strive to make the transition to Ilam School as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
