We’re only halfway through the week and there’s still plenty of fun happening at Kelly Club Merrin! 🎉 From dance battles and learning new dances to musical basketball, cooking, crafts, games and more, we’ve got lots planned for the rest of the week! 🧡💙

Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori!

We’ve had a heaps of fun baking this week! 👩‍🍳

Yesterday we gave fry bread a go — it didn’t quite go to plan. But the kids had lots of fun mixing and rolling the dough!

This morning we made red velvet cupcakes 🧁❤️ and had even more fun measuring, mixing and baking together!

Lots of kai, fun and creativity this week! 😋✨

Today at Kelly Club, we explored Te Reo Māori through our whānau! 💚 The tamariki created their own family trees, learning the Māori names for different family members such as Māmā (Mum), Tuahine (sister) and more, before adding their family members’ names underneath.

We then got creative and made our own trees out of pipe cleaners, using the branches to display our leaves and bring our artwork to life! 🍃

It was a fun way to learn some new kupu while celebrating the special people who make up our whānau. 💚✨

We’ve had a busy few days exploring our Deep Blue Sea theme! 🐠🌊

The kids have been getting creative with discovering the Layers of the Ocean, showing off their skills in Crab Football and baking our Ocean Fossil Cookies! Today we are making some super cute Egg Carton Turtles! 🐢🎨🍪

Today we put our chef hats on and made some delicious Dad’s Burgers for Father’s Day this week! 👨‍👧‍👦✨

The kids had so much fun creating their own yummy burgers and showing off their cooking skills. And of course… the best part was getting to eat them! 😋🍔
