โจ Preparatory School Production 2026: 'Looped' ๐ฎ๐ถ
Opening Monday 15 June!
Welcome to Looptown, a world where everything runs on points, progress, and the promise of more. But as the system begins to falter, one voice begins to question it allโฆ
Step into an imaginative adventure filled with unexpected Glitches, encounters a powerful Firewall, and ventures right to the edge of the world itself. What will it take to break the loop?
This vibrant production brings together 220 Year 7โ8 students across three days of collaborative theatre. With a story devised by our Preparatory School students, and an original score composed by our Secondary School songwriters, 'Looped' is a true celebration of creativity, teamwork, and student voice. ๐ญ
Step into the loopโฆ if you dare. ๐

Thanks to the senior student leaders who organised a great social night out for the music department. Connecting students from years 9-13 from the choral, orchestral, jazz and rock programmes. We had fun with bowling, laser tag and many laughs along the way. Thanks to Duncan Ferguson, Mark Hodgkinson and Ginnie Thorner for supporting another evening event this term.

Over the past two days we have had 15 Chamber Groups involving StAC students compete in the NZCT Chamber Music Competition. Nine of the groups were StAC only students and the other six involved students from other schools.
We have had four groups make it through to the District Finals tomorrow which is an amazing result. Huge thanks to Mark Hodgkinson for all his coordination and direction of the groups. Also a huge thanks to Jennie Goldstein, Mijin Jeon and Thomas Woodfield for their work with groups.
Come along tomorrow to The Piano to show your support for our StAC groups.
