🏸 A Weekend to Be Proud Of ✊

This weekend our BAPN players took to the court in the Seniors Division 3 tournament, and what a effort it was!

Led by Head Coach Willie Chen for Team 1, our players Joyce Hsu, Jasper Wong, Rohan Hala, Ann Lee and Mitch Hejl brought their best all weekend showing great teamwork, strong sportsmanship, and an amazing fighting spirit out on court.

Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend and proudly represented our region and association of Badminton Canterbury ⚫️🔴

Term 3 has officially kicked off this week 🏸 and it's got us looking back at what an amazing Term 2 it was for our BAPN juniors and adults!

So much progress on court this term - new skills learned, more confidence with every session, and a great vibe at training. Most importantly, making new friends and enjoying the sport we all love 🤩

Thank you to all our juniors, adults and families for making Term 2 such a great one. Here's to an even bigger Term 3 💪

Huge congratulations to our partnership school Rangi Ruru on winning the 2026 South Island Secondary Schools Teams Badminton Championship! 🎉

This incredible team went up against the top badminton schools across the South Island — and came out on top. We couldn't be more proud! 💪

A massive shoutout to Coach Willie from BAPN, who put in the work both at the tournament and through after-school training sessions leading up to this victory. This win is a true reflection of the dedication and effort from the players, parents, BAPN and Rangi Ruru. 👏
