Kia ora St Mark’s Whānau,

Last year we started a new tradition of a Matariki hāngi. We want to
carry that on in 2026. We want this event to be a brilliant opportunity for the community to come together in fellowship. It does need your support.

Date: Thursday 25 June
Time: 5:00pm - 7:30pm
Venue: At school

Come and celebrate Matariki with a special hāngi at school. The kapa haka will perform with Matua Steve.
We need your help! In order to make this a free event (no charge for food), we need these donations:

20 chickens
20kg potatoes
20kg kumura
20 cabbages

If you can help please drop off your donation to the school office on Tuesday 23rd or Wednesday 24th June.

We aim to make up to 200 meal boxes for adults to share with their own children.
Thanks for your help and commitment to this special event.

If prayer or worship is new to you, please feel free to simply come, soak it all in, and enjoy the worship.

This is an adult only event.
