✨ New Offering: Sound Bowl Sessions ✨
At Organic Education, we’re always exploring ways to support not just children, but the adults who care for them—including their own wellbeing.
I’m excited to now be offering Sound Bowl Meditation sessions in the suburbs of Hoon Hay, Sumner and Spencerville (Christchurch) as a gentle way to support the nervous system, release tension, and create a space to simply pause and breathe.
Even with just a short time immersed in these vibrations, we can help our bodies reset, minds soften, and energy restore.
These sessions are:
✨ Small, relaxed groups
✨ Suitable for all experience levels
✨ A simple way to nurture yourself while embracing calm
If you feel called to give your nervous system a little love, I’d love to welcome you.

✨ Welcome to 2026! ✨
As we step into a fresh new year, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the months ahead. I have a goal to journal more this year, not just as a record of events, but as a tool for self-discovery, growth, and clarity.
Journaling allows us to slow down in our busy lives, notice the little details, and connect with our thoughts and feelings. It’s where reflection meets insight, helping us learn from experiences, celebrate wins, and uncover areas for growth—both personally and professionally.
This year, I invite you to embrace journaling as part of your leadership journey, your learning journey, or simply as a moment of pause in your week. A simple entry can spark creativity, focus, and mindfulness.
Here’s to a year of reflection, growth, and meaningful moments—one entry at a time.

Over the past months, Organic Education has been gently evolving — not just in what we offer, but in why we do it. What began as a focus on leadership and professional growth has blossomed into something deeper and more expansive. As I’ve walked this journey, I’ve become more and more certain: true growth doesn’t just come from refining skills — it comes from tending to the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
Alongside mentoring and professional support, I’m embracing practices of self‑care, reflection, and sound healing. Because whether you’re kaiako, parent, or someone simply longing for balance — everyone deserves space to breathe, reconnect, and nourish their inner world.
In the New Year, I’ll begin sharing more of this journey — and invite you to join me. Whatever your path looks like, there’s a place here for you to grow authentically: mind, body, and spirit. 🌱✨
Thank you for being part of this kaupapa.
With calm and connection, Bec 🌸

Kia ora 🌿
It’s been some time since this page has received some love. Behind the scenes, Organic Education has been quietly growing roots — refining its purpose and weaving together all the ways we nurture the mind, body, and soul through learning, connection, and life itself.
I’m Bec — mentor, facilitator, and now the kaitiaki of Organic Education. This kaupapa began as a shared vision between Louise, Billie, and myself, each bringing our own passions and strengths. Billie originally held the role of kaitiaki, guiding our beginnings with deep care and intention. As our paths have gently evolved, I now continue the work — tending to what was planted and guiding its next season of growth.
In the months ahead, I’ll be sharing more about what’s unfolding — all grounded in holistic, heart-led practice.

One of my favorite concepts from Brené Brown is "rumbling with vulnerability" 🗣️! It's about leaning into those difficult conversations 😬, being honest about our feelings ❤️, and having the courage 💪 to address tough issues head-on.
As leaders 🧑💼👩💼, we need to create cultures where "rumbling" is encouraged 🙌, not avoided.
What's one small step you can take this week to "rumble" with vulnerability in your leadership role?

We are not designed to live this life alone.
We need our village, our tribe of like-minded people around us to ensure we thrive.
This whakataukī encapsulates the notion that while working in isolation might result in survival, working together can take people beyond survival and onto prosperity.
Having someone to turn to, to reflect with, to bounce ideas off is just one way to help you grow yourself and your practice.
Reach out to me if you would like to know more about our the quality mentorships that I can offer to you, your kaiako and/or your team.

Tēnā koe e hoa mā, what a stunner of a day it is here in Ōtautahi today.
This is how I start my day most days. With my dog on my beach.
I know that how I start my day hugely impacts how the rest of my day flows. I am far more conscious of this now than I ever have been in my 39 years on this Earth. You may not have a beach or a dog near to call your own (yes, I call it my beach), but you will have something that you can choose to start you day with that will set the vibe that you need to be your best.
What is your thing?

The past 7 months have been a time for growth.
I have recently completed and reflected on Professional Growth Cycles for six incredible Leaders throughout Aotearoa as I am their professional lead.
I have also recently established four new mentorships with passionate kaiako who I am thrilled to walk alongside as they begin their induction and mentoring programme with me.
Whichever way your direction is facing, please let it one that is looking toward passion, authenticity and growth, surrounded by people who lift you up.

She held my hand today for the first time, after 16 months of building a relationship with her as her visiting teacher.
I've stood back. I've waited. I've given her the space, grace, and time she needed.
Today, out of the blue, she walked toward me, and she gave me a long, tight cuddle, and then later on, she held my hand.
Never underestimate how much time, patience, and space one needs to develop trust.
