Kia ora! Welcome to our page about our University of Canterbury based research. Thank you CureKids and UC Child Wellbeing Research!

This is a trial study to find out whether a mindfulness group for tamariki and whānau could be helpful for ADHD.

Kia ora Mindkiwi Whānau. Exciting news! We have another study up and running through Julia Rucklidge - Mental Health & Nutrition Research: Te Puna Toiora. This is a combination of mātauranga Māori informed mindfulness (Mindkiwi.org.nz) for the whole whānau and for some participants, the chance to see if micronutrients are additionally beneficial for tamariki. We are looking to support tamariki who might be struggling with regulating their emotions, aged 6-10, who aren't currently taking psychiatric medications. Please see flyers for more information. We are currently recruiting for the next few weeks for this year's intake but will also be running this study next year. Please pass on to all interested whānau.
