(Established 2021) MHO brings financial literacy workshops to local communities, maraes, churches and community halls around the South Island/Te Waipounamu.

How do we slow the property market? OPINION: House prices are on a runaway train to nowhere. Clearly, something has to change. The question is what.

The StatsNZ report "Housing Aotearoa: 2020 (Updated 2021)" and the graph below shows Māori and Pasifika were less likely to own their own homes and were more likely to live in public housing.

It was the former Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae who once said: "Every Kiwi deserves their own tūrangawaewae - their own place to stand tall!" and that is the inspiration Moana Home Ownership draws upon.
