🍃 I've decided to return to teaching children in addition to adults :)
E5 Art & Clay is a welcoming creative studio space at Climate Action Campus, where I, Nikki from NikkiWBCeramics, will be teaching weekly after-school pottery classes for children aged 9–16.
Each term, our projects will be inspired by the natural world, encouraging creativity, curiosity and confidence while learning real ceramic hand-building techniques.
This term we'll be making:
🏡 A magical garden house
🦋 Beautiful textured butterflies and moths
✨ A creative choice project where each child brings their own ideas to life.

Our After School Pottery Classes are more than just making with clay. Each term , children explore nature inspired projects that encourage curiosity, creativity and a care for their environment.
Held at Climate Action Campus 180 Avonside drive CHCH.

My two are getting away with this as I’m away! Maybe they have it sorted and I’m being a mean mumma :) Although my ceramics shop closes on Saturday you can still give the gift of pottery either as a workshop or as a general gift card that can then be used on line ❤️ ❤️

Meet the newest member of the studio — and yes, she’s a beast.
The Cowley slab roller has officially been put to use and I’m already wondering how I ever worked without it. She makes light work of those big, even slabs I needed for my recent Twizel workshops — and saves my back in the process (a true win).
There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing clay roll out this smoothly…
Pieces from these workshops are slowly drying — can’t wait to share what’s been made.
