We are thrilled to celebrate Ashlee Brooks, who will be taking to the stage in Xanadu Jr. with Luminaires!
Ashlee has been working hard and is shining bright in this exciting production. We are so proud to see her sharing her talents with audiences and gaining valuable performance experience.
Xanadu Jr. will be performed at Papa Hou from 2 October to 8 October.

We are so excited to see Ephelia Paxie and Ayla Wood take to the stage in Chicken Divas with Canterbury Children's Theatre!
We wish these talented students all the very best for their season and look forward to hearing all about their experiences performing in this wonderful production.
Chicken Divas runs at the Malthouse Theatre from 26 September to 11 October.

Our Year 13 Drama students were fortunate to spend time with former student and Head girl, Emma Cushing last week as they continued developing their Solo Devising performances.
Emma worked individually with each student, providing feedback, asking thought-provoking questions, and encouraging them to take their work to the next level. Experiences like these are invaluable for our young performers as they refine their creative voices and prepare for assessment.
Thank you, Emma, for your generosity, wisdom, and support of our ākonga.

Please note that the venue has changed and the showcase will now be held at: Merivale Lane Theatre, Rangi Ruru Girls’ School.📣

We’re excited to celebrate the incredible talent, creativity and hard work of our dancers at the Dance Showcase this Thursday!

Led and choreographed by our talented ākonga, this showcase brings together students from Years 7–13 for an inspiring evening of performances, featuring an exciting mix of dance, Kapa Haka and Aerobics.

Congratulations to Millie Vink!
Following Sunday's Theatresports Canterbury Regional Final, Millie Vink was named the recipient of the prestigious Cal Wilson Most Valued Improvisor (MVI) Award.

Named in honour of improv pioneer, comedian, and former Court Jester Cal Wilson, this award recognises a performer who exemplifies the values of improvisation and demonstrates exceptional creativity, collaboration, and courage on stage.

We are incredibly proud of Millie for this outstanding achievement and the fearless spirit she brought to the competition. Congratulations, Millie!

From quick wit to outstanding teamwork, Year 13 students Millie Vink and Lily Partridge helped their combined Rangi Ruru and Christ's College Theatresports team take out their heat at the Court Theatre Secondary Schools Theatresports Competition!
Their creativity and confidence on stage earned the team a place in this Sunday's Regional Finals, and we couldn't be prouder.
Come along and support these talented performers as they take the stage once again!

Stepping into an audition room takes courage, and our Year 12 and 13 Drama and Contemporary Music students rose to the challenge during a recent workshop with Nic Kyle.
Throughout the session, students explored audition techniques, performed for their peers, and received professional feedback that encouraged them to think creatively and respond in the moment. Whether performing or observing, every student left with valuable insights and practical skills to support their next steps as performers.
Experiences like these help build confidence, resilience, and artistic growth, all essential qualities for future auditions and performance opportunities.

Bravo to our Level 2 Drama students on their outstanding production of Girls Like That!
After months of rehearsal, students presented a thought-provoking performance that highlighted the power of ensemble theatre and sparked meaningful conversations among audiences.
Praised for their professionalism and teamwork, the cast should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
We can't wait to see what they create next as they move into devising their own original theatre work.
