Got a game idea? Bring it to the table!

Our monthly Game Designer Meet-up is back this Sunday from 10am at Meepleopolis.

Bring a prototype, a half-finished idea, a weird mechanic you want to test, or just come along and help play-test other people's creations. It’s casual, collaborative and open to designers, gamers and play-testers of all experience levels.

The clock is ticking, and we haven't even started the puzzles yet! Registrations for Christchurch's World Mechanical Puzzle Competition close 30 September.

On 28 November you'll have 2 hours to solve 7 completely original mechanical puzzles, with your results joining competitors at 100+ venues around the world.

Entry is $87.50 per participant. You keep all 7 competition puzzles! All skill levels welcome!

Seven brand-new puzzles. Two hours. And they're yours to keep.

Your $87.50 entry to the World Mechanical Puzzle Competition includes a set of 7 original mechanical puzzles created for this year's competition.

You'll tackle them alongside competitors around the world on 28 November, then take the entire set home afterwards to solve again, share with friends or add to your collection.

You don't need to be a puzzle expert either. The competition is open to all skill levels.
