Weather permitting as always - winter riding is slow and blobby due to slippery conditions

Sadly the forecast is looking pretty miserable tomorrow :(( I will be in contact tomorrow morning around 8am to confirm whether we will go ahead or not 😢

You thought I forgot, guys… but I didn’t!!! Happy birthday to all the ponies!! August 1 is the birthday for all horses. We know our guys had a great day- they all had a lovely walk with a friend!!! :) That’s what they love!!! :) Thank you to Ashby, Mac, Caper, Mouse, Fly, Ted, Eddie, Lollie, Jack and Erika - you are all very special ponies and we love you lots # # #

RIDES ARE ON THIS AFTERNOON - Please note these important messages.
The car park is too wet to part on. Please park up by the house (not on berm/verge outside the house). Please do not drive or park on any grass areas.
It's cold - please dress warmly - jackets essential.
It's muddy and slippery so rides will be quiet. Winter riding is very difficult - I know all riders want to do their trots and poles, but safety for riders, ponies and helpers must take priority so rides will be quiet today in respect of these factors.
If you would rather leave your ride today, please let me know.

Timetable for WHITE weekend (My planning colour...)

As always, rides are weather permitting and this means wind levels also. Ponies get upset in big winds (like we are getting tonight) and you know our focus is always on rider safety first and also pony welfare. I will confirm here tomorrow morning around 10.30am whether rides will be on in the afternoon. Please let me know if I've missed any absence messages - I think I have them all! 🙂 Stay warm! All your pony friends are double rugged and fed up to their eyeballs so they are ok! 😀

Hi everyone

Just a quick post about tomorrow. The forecast said it would be sunny on Sunday, but as you have seen from the video, it's very wet here. If it is not raining, I'm happy to go ahead with quiet hack outs for saddle time for kiddos. We won't be able to do much more than that - slippery! If you'd rather stay home, please let me know. I understand bugs are going around so it might not be lovely... the realities of ponies I guess! :D I'll message around 8am to let you know if it looks clear and practical. If we do go ahead, parking will be in front of the house. Please stay off all grass areas with vehicles. Thanks! :)
