Huge congratulations to Leo on a fantastic recital!

A very belated congratulations to Oliver Williams (Burnside SMP) on his phenomenal solo recital last year! Tomorrow (Tuesday, 30/6) at 1:10pm, a group of ToneAce students will take the stage for a concert at The Arts Centre. We hope you'll join us for an afternoon of wonderful music and support these talented young performers. 🎹🎻🎹

Congratulations to three of our students for their recent achievements! Luobby Luo was the only student this year to receive a Music Scholarship from the Medbury School. Oliver Williams was accepted into Burnside High School’s Specialist Music Programme. Eileen Li received an Academic Scholarship from St Andrew’s College. Bravo to all!

Earlier this year, a group of ToneAce students gave a mesmerizing public recital at The Arts Centre. Tomorrow, Leo Yang (one of Christchurch’s top talents) will give his debut solo recital performing Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata and Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto in this venue at 1:10pm. Huge congratulations to Oliver Williams for achieving a full mark on his ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Exam! This result is a tribute to Oliver’s excellent work ethic and application of ideas, alongside brilliant teaching from ToneAce theory teacher Lois Dalton.

Passionate about teaching music to the next generation of young musicians Young pianist Lixin Zhang has founded a boutique music academy which aims to promote musical excellence in New Zealand.
