Join in with our first ever St Martins School Rogaine on Friday 13th September!
Rogaine is a fun, navigation-based event that can be as competitive or as relaxed as you want it to be.
Registration is 4.30 - 5.15pm
Start time is between 5-5.30pm and the course will take 1 hour.
It is a rolling start, meaning not everyone has to begin at the same time.
Teams will start from the St Martins School hall and explore from there for up to an hour. The map will cater to all ages and abilities. More details will be explained on the day.
We have three groups:
⭐️ Years 0-6 - teams of up to 4 children (you could add 5 if you really want, but 4 is recommended). One parent must accompany all teams up to year 6.
⭐️ Years 7-8 - individual or teams of 2-4.
⭐️ Parents/Adults/Ex-St Martins students - individual.
All teams must have a working mobile phone with them whilst on the course.
We'll have burgers for sale at the school, and the hall will be open for the duration of the event.
There will be experienced Rogainers in the hall helping everyone understand the maps and how to do it, and First Aiders (just in case...)
$5 for each person on the course (supervising parents are free). Please pay :

Rose was one of the winners of the "What's Cool About Your School / Community" cabinet competition run by the CCC Graffiti Programme.
Students from SMS were invited by the council to share what they loved about our community.
Rose's design was chosen for its environmental message and clear connection to our local environment in St Martins.
Rose spent her long weekend drafting and painting her incredible design onto a One.NZ cabinet on Centaurus Road. Doesn't it look amazing!
Mahi Nui, Rose on your beautiful artwork.
Today we held the teacher vs student dodgeball tournament. Teachers started strong, taking the first match convincingly. In game two, students brought in some new players and responded strongly to take out the second game. The third and final game was a tough match, but ultimately the teachers prevailed. Well done teachers!
