Our Discoverers tamariki turned a little science experiment into some seriously amazing art. They got to explore motion, gravity, cause and effect, and creativity all while watching their ideas come to life right in front of them.

Our tamariki have been noticing the blossoms appearing on the trees recently, we talked about why this is happening and then made our own beautiful blossom pictures. A great way to be creative while learning about our environment and the changing of the seasons.

Scoop, sort and discover 🔴🔵🟢🟡

Today we set up a fun colour sorting experience for our older under two tamariki.

With colourful balls, scoops and buckets, the children were encouraged to scoop, pour, sort and match while developing their fine motor skills! 🌈

Today we made kinetic sand for science. This helps build fine motor control, explore sensory feedback and expand their creative and cognitive abilities.

To our surprise, St Patricks School were also there preforming their kapa haka waiata!
We were so fortunate to have two wonderful experiences to watch that morning, all of our tamariki had the best time, and were so engaged 👏
