Nursery Water Fun
The start of Summer has really begun well with plenty of sunshine and warm weather! Our Nursery tamariki have been able to really enjoy cooling off with water play during these warmer days while interacting with their friends and learning about the properties of water.

Preschool Christmas Creations
Some of our preschool tamariki have been busy using their creative skills to cut out and decorate Christmas trees, Santa and reindeer antlers.

Investigating Insects!
Our preschool tamariki have been learning about insects this week. We looked for insects in our own environment, made spiders and did some brainstorming.

Mask Fun!
Some of our Nursery tamariki have been busy this week creating masks decorated with items from our natural environment. This activity helped further develop their fine motor skills along with with working together and sharing of materials.

Last week our tamariki had some fun bringing teddy bears from home to enjoy the day at preschool with them!

Role Play!
Some of our preschool tamariki enjoyed role playing this week. By taking on different roles such as being a Doctor, they can explore different perspectives, emotions, and social dynamics. This form of play encourages empathy, co-operation, and communication, it also helps children develop a sense of self-awareness and understand the feelings and needs of others.

Piglet Has A Name!
The newest addition to our farmyard has a new name, the most popular choice and the winning name is Pumba!

Wigrams Car Wash!
Today some of our 4 year olds came out to help Emma give the Educare Car a good clean. They all worked super hard to scrub it down, hose it off and dry it so its nice and shiny!

Dress Up Day at Educare Wigram!!!

We ended last week in our Preschool room with some creative spray painting. We started off with a blank canvas which soon changed into a colourful masterpiece!

Colours & Textures!
Some of our nursery tamariki have been busy this week exploring different shaped and sized vessels while playing with colourful and bubbly water.

Preschool excursion to the playground!
Some of our preschool tamariki enjoyed an excursion on Tuesday to the playground situated at the front of our Centre. The playground provided a great opportunity to further develop their gross motor skills and teamwork was further developed with the construction of a stone path.

Water & Bubbles!
Our nursery tamariki have been enjoying developing their senses, particularly touch, while exploring play with water and bubbles.
