It means that someone, qualified to do so, is taking an objective view of you, where you’re at, what you want and the best route there.
Fitting in around you and making sure that you enjoy this arbitrary activity that many of us dedicate our lives to.

It’s never not worth taking the opportunity. The point of training is to not only improve, but to be able to tolerate more and stay on the right side of injury.
Our coaching plans actively encourage the athlete to do what they love to do, be it an indoor bouldering session with friends. Or taking advantage of conditions to try your project.

Sometimes we get a strong sensation that today is not the day to train as you intended.
The body is very good at letting you know if it is recovered and prepared for the intended training load.
If you happen to be paying attention and notice a red flag, what then? Push through anyway? Give up and go home?
That maybe the answer. But also you could pivot and choose to do something else.
The important thing is to learn to notice when to push on the gas and when to press the brakes.
Learning to identify your individual physiological responses is as important as any other aspect of your training.

This means doing things you might not have done before and learning new skills.
Exposing your weaknesses and exploring your potential.
